Scholarship
The Rosthern & District Chamber of Commerce (RDCC) is proud to support local students pursuing their dreams and contributing to the community. This scholarship aims to assist you in your journey towards a meaningful vocation.
The RDCC was formed in 2021 to work towards the enhancement of our economy and business community. The membership base stems from those within a 30km radius of Rosthern, between the North and South Saskatchewan Rivers. Communities included in this radius are: Duck Lake, Hague, Hepburn, Laird, Neuanlage, Rosthern, Waldheim as well as the Rural Municipalities of Rosthern, Duck Lake, and Laird. The members of the RDCC utilize the benefits package, learning opportunities, and networking events. Without our members and their dedication to education in business, this scholarship would not be possible.
About the Application: The Rosthern & District Chamber of Commerce will award one scholarship of $500 for 2025.
Dates to Apply: April 17 to May 29, 2025.
Selection Process: A committee of Chamber of Commerce members will review all applications and select the scholarship recipient based on the quality of responses, alignment with our values, and potential community impact.
Notification: The scholarship applicant will be notified by June 1, 2025 and the scholarship will be presented at the school's award ceremony or event.
Eligibility Requirements:

The Applicant must be a grade 12 student attending a school within the RDCC district or a home school student with an address from within the district.

The Applicant must both attend a school and live within the district boundaries.

The Applicant must be accepted into a Saskatchewan-based program that promotes further education.

Has submitted a completed application form.

Have the following two documents attached to this application:
- Confirmation of acceptance to any post-secondary Saskatchewan-based program.
- One letter of recommendation from a Teacher, Counsellor, or Educational Assistant
